Euphyllia and Fimbriaphyllia corals

These LPS corals enjoy great popularity in reef tanks. Their tentacles move gently in the current, giving them an extremely attractive appearance. Since 2017 some Euphyllia species have been classified to the new genus Fimbriaphyllia. As the generic term Euphyllia is still common among aquarists, we use it synonymously.

Placement in reef tanks

Place Euphyllia corals in moderate to strong water flow in your reef. The tentacles should move thouroughly in the current, but please avoid direct flow. A moderate lighting intensity is sufficient. Beware of long fighting tentacles of Euphyllia corals! We recommend a safety distance of about 10 cm to neighbouring corals.

Wunderschöner Ableger

Auch bei dieser Koralle habe ich ein wunderschönes Tier erhalten. So ein toller Ableger. Öffnete sich auch schon nach ca 60min. Absolut 5 Sterne.
