Gobies belong to the most species-rich fish group in the marine habitat. A common feature are they ventral fins which are fused to a suction cup. In this way, they can attach themselves optimally to the ground even in turbulent currents. Gobies are sociable and sociable reef dwellers. They usually occupy the lower part of the aquarium or sit on exposed areas in the decoration. Preferably you should socialize them with more peaceful "surface dwellers" such as clownfish or cardinalfish.
