Large Polyp Stony Corals are more tolerant in terms of water parameters than SPS corals. They are therefore already suitable for less experienced reef aquarists or for reef tanks with a heavy fish load. LPS corals come in unusual color combinations and are easily recognised by their polyps which can reach several centimetres in size. Species such as Acanthastrea, Blastomussa and Euphyllia cope well with moderate lighting and currents. Therefore, you can easily place these corals near the bottom of your reef tank. We do only offer aquacultured LPS corals which are perfectly acclimatized to the aquarium conditions.
Especially when using LED lights with a high blue proportion, LPS corals will reveal their colors and develop into real eye-catchers in your saltwater aquarium.
