Leptastrea corals are closely related to Favites and Favia and occur in a variety of different color morphs. With its unusual color and growth form, this coral provides a varied picture in the marine aquarium.
Light and current loving LPS coral
Colorful Leptastrea like this one do well with strong lighting. Also the current can be selected quite moderate to strong. However when the coral begins to become less fluffy (less polyp extension) you might have to look for a place with a little less light.
