The Stylophora coral is easily recognizable by its stout growth form and strong, short branches. They belong to the SPS-corals and are good for beginners.
Stylophora pistillata want a strong current
Stylophora pistillata are happiest when you place them in the upper half of the outer reefs. They love waves and strong water currents. Their stout built is evidence of their adaption to these rougher environmental conditions. Therefore, we recommend placing your coral in an area of the tank with a strong water flow.
