Substrate in the saltwater aquarium – what do I need to consider?

For a normal substrate cover, a sand depth of about 2 cm in the aquarium is completely sufficient. For an area of ​​1 x 1 m, you will need about 20-25 kg of substrate. Rinse the sand thoroughly before use! Make sure that your reef structure is placed directly on the base plate and not on sand areas, otherwise there is a risk of it collapsing later.
