Shipping policy

We reserve the right to postpone delivery dates, of course in consultation with you, if the weather conditions (e.g. at temperatures <-10°C or > 35°C) do not allow safe transport of live animals.

Shipping conditions

Delivery takes place domestically (Germany) and to EU countries. Shipping to Switzerland or UK, for example, is excluded.


Delivery times

If no other deadline is specified in the product description, delivery will take place within 1-3 working days, for international deliveries within 2-7 working days after order confirmation. When paying in advance the delivery period begins after receipt of payment. During the delivery period, the transport time for animals is a maximum of 24 hours. For live animal orders, a desired delivery date within 14 days can be selected. If we are unable to meet the deadline, we will contact you in advance. Live animals are shipped on weekdays Monday to Friday. This means delivery takes place Tuesday - Saturday. There is no shipping on Sundays and public holidays. Saturday delivery is only possible throughout Germany.

Shipping Process - Live Animal Orders

Please note that the animals you have ordered must be prepared for shipping by us after payment has been received and the delivery date has been agreed. Orders should therefore be placed at least 1 day before the desired shipment. After ordering, you will receive an order confirmation by email with a delivery or collection date. We pack all animals carefully and professionally and then send them to our shipping partner GO! hand over. The order will be delivered to the shipping address specified within the next 24 hours. For the welfare of the animals, please be at the delivery address you provided on the agreed date. If the delivery person has difficulty finding you, he will try to reach you by phone. That's why you should always have your phone handy on the day of delivery.


Always know where your package is – package tracking

With the shipping confirmation email you will receive a link through which you can track the status of your package online at any time.

 

Our promise: live arrival

All animals are cultivated, cared for and packaged by us with the best of our knowledge and belief. We bear the shipping risk to you. Please also accept damaged packages, as sending them back to us means certain death for the animals. After accepting the shipment, we ask you to first check whether the animals' health is really compromised due to the shipping time or damaged packaging. If, despite all the careful shipping preparations, an animal dies during transport, we ask you to document this to us with photos. Please leave the dead animals in the sealed transport bag for photo documentation. Please send us this information to our email address info@coralaxy.de. Packaging - Live Animal Orders

The shipping price includes the costs for reliable transport and safe packaging. The packaging includes the following:

  • environmentally friendly thermal box
  • stable outer packaging
  • Marking for smooth animal transport
  • Heat or cold packs (depending on weather conditions)
  • Double-walled transport bags for fish
  • compostable foil inlay
  • Special packaging for corals
  • biodegradable packaging chips
  • Oxygen supply for sensitive animals

We deliver free shipping within Germany for goods valued at €199 or more.

The prices stated on the product pages include VAT. In addition to the stated prices, we charge a shipping fee per order. The shipping costs will be clearly communicated to you in the Check-Out.

Shipping days for GO! Express (Germany, Austria, Netherlands): Monday - Thursday (delivery: Tuesday - Friday). Saturday delivery within Germany possible with an additional charge.

Shipping days for UPS Express (other EU countries): Monday - Wednesday (delivery: Tuesday - Thursday).
