Sea urchins are good at killing algae in saltwater aquariums. They eat even larger algae and graze through the tank all day long. If at some point there are no more algae in the aquarium, feed your sea urchin dried algae or dry food with a high algae content. Sea urchins can even eat coralline algae.

Be careful when inserting the sea urchin and use the drop method. The sea urchin should not be exposed to air if possible. Therefore, transfer the sea urchin from the transport bag to your aquarium using a small cup, for example.
