Magnificent, beautiful saltwater fish!

The magnificent dwarf cichlid is a strikingly beautifully colored animal. There are numerous spots on the flanks, the eyes are covered by a black bar and the fins are a bright blue.

Proud fish that knows how to defend conquered territory. We recommend keeping them alone in aquariums with plenty of hiding places, starting at 500 liters.

The magnificent dwarf cichlid can be kept in aquariums with a tank volume of 500 liters or more. In nature, the animals also live mainly as solitary animals, which is why we recommend keeping them alone.

Feeding dwarf cichlids

In order to provide dwarf cichlids with sufficient nutrition, medium-sized frozen foods such as Artemia or Mysis should be regularly included in the diet. However, various live and dry foods are also readily accepted.
