Tank Starter 1

With Tank Starter 1, you can quickly and safely get your saltwater aquarium up and running! The live microorganisms it contains were isolated from natural seawater and are already successfully used in aquaculture. They ensure the rapid breakdown of toxic nitrogen compounds such as ammonium, ammonia, and nitrite – converting them into the much safer nitrate. This stabilizes the nitrogen cycle and significantly shortens the cycling period.

Area of ​​Application

• For starting new aquariums: Shortens the cycling period and enables earlier, safe colonization with fish and other reef inhabitants.
• After interventions such as medication treatments, large water changes, filter material replacement, or intensive cleaning.
• For stabilization under high loads, e.g., due to many new animals or increased ammonium levels.

Application & Dosage

• Shake well before use!
• Regular use: 10 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water weekly
• For starting up a new aquarium: Double the dosage (20 ml per 100 liters)
• Recommendation: Combined use with Tank Starter 2 (contains ammonium chloride to nourish the bacteria) for starting up unoccupied aquariums
• Tank Starter 1 is sufficient on its own if reef inhabitants are already present in the aquarium or for prophylactic use after procedures
