Tropic Marin Plus NP

Tropic Marin Plus-NP contains organic and inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus compounds. These provide your corals with a balanced ratio of nitrates and phosphates. The organic components ensure improved biological availability.

Signs of low nutrient levels

If there is a lack of nutrients in the reef aquarium, corals will initially stop growing. In addition to the measured phosphate and nitrate values, poor polyp appearance, loss of color and tissue changes can also indicate a nutrient limitation. In particular, if there is a phosphate limitation, corals turn white from the bottom up and eventually lose all of their tissue.

Recommended use Plus-NP

Ideally, dose the concentrate throughout the day. Plus-NP is a liquid solution and is therefore also suitable for dosing pumps. Keep an eye on the nutrient values, especially phosphate, to avoid overdosing. We recommend a phosphate concentration of 0.03 - 0.08 mg/l with an N:P ratio of 100:1 as an ideal value.
