Cryptocentrus cinctus - a marine fish for aquariums from 300 liters

The bottom-dwelling guardian goby is a good choice for stocking saltwater aquariums with sandy substrate. We recommend keeping them in aquariums of 300 liters or more. Your reef tank should be covered or have side bars so that the gobies cannot jump out.

Socialization of Cryptocentrus cinctus

Keeping them together with other fish is usually no problem. Be careful when keeping them together with territorial, similarly colored bottom-dwelling fish (e.g. Salarias sp.), very small shrimps (e.g. Thor amboinensis ) or predatory crabs.
