Sinularia brassica - Corals for Beginners

Unlike stone corals, leather and soft corals do not develop a calcium-carbonate skeleton. Therefore, they are much more tolerant towards calcium and alkalinity fluctuations. Soft corals are perfect candidates for beginners and for aquarists who don't (want to) watch the water parameters meticulously.

High nutrient values? No problem for soft corals!

Leather and soft corals can handle high nutrient concentrations well. Phosphate concentrations up to 0.1 mg/l and nitrate concentrations up to 30 mg/l are still acceptable. That's why they're perfect for new or small reef tanks and for socialization with fish.
