In this category you will find representatives of anemones, gorgonian corals and other corals. Anemones (Actinaria) are probably well known to you through their association with clownfish. But in fact only a few species of anemones are suitable for socializing with these fish. Certain representatives of the genera Entacmaea, Heteractis and Stichodactyla are regarded as true host and partner anemones. For a small reef aquarium, the so-called Rock (Phymanthus sp.) and MinMax anemones (Stichodactyla) are particularly suitable. They stay small, are very colorful and do not migrate much. All corals offered by Coralaxy are aquacultured.
Anemones should only be kept in a well established reef aquarium with a minimum lifetime of 6 months. Although they do not place too high demands on the water parameters, they should be stable. A phosphate concentration of up to 0.1 mg/l and a nitrate concentration of up to 10 mg/l are easily tolerated by most anemones.
